  • Blood Donation Camp organised at Hari Om Mandir

    Today Sri Sathya Sai Sewa Organisation, lko and Varsha Foundation organised a blood donation camp at Hari Om Mandir to facilitate donation of blood to poor children suffering with cancer.

    Members of Inner Wheel Club of Lucknow Baradari very enthusiastically participated in the camp. They donated 6 units of blood for our children.

    Varsha Foundation staff also participated in the camp and donated blood for this noble cause.

    May this blood save precious lives of children fighting cancer.

  • Celebration of Children’s day at Pediatric surgery department of KGMU

    Varsha foundation in collaboration with Inner wheel club of Lucknow Baradari celebrated Children’s day at Pediatric surgery department of KGMU.

    Dr. J.D Rawat, Head of the department and addressing the audience is the PRO VC of Kgmu Dr. Apjit Kaur. The Chief Guest appreciated the services being rendered by our foundation. (click here for more details)

    The gala celebration was appreciated by the entire doctor fraternity and the pediatric ward was very intricately and beautifully decorated and the campus bore a festival look.

  • Diwali celeberation at HAH

    आज HAH में दिवाली खूब धूमधाम से मनाई. यह बच्चे अपने घर नहीं जा सके पर HAH में ये कमी इनको मेहसूस ही नहीं होने दी. लगा ही नहीं कि ये अपने घर नहीं हैं.. एक बार फिर HAH ने सार्थकता सिद्ध कर दी आज.

  • Dushehra Celebration at HAH

    We celebrated Dushehra in HAH. Children could not go their home towns, missing their siblings in that situation we tried to fill gap and made them happy. see how these are happy.

  • Celebration of Shri Krishna Janamasthmi at HAH

    Yesterday we celebrated Shri Krishna Janamasthmi the birthday 🎂 of lord shri Krishna at Home Away from Home (HAH), “Sneh Ashray” a home for children suffering from cancer and their families run by Varsha Foundation at Lucknow. All together did puja, dinner together, gifts distributed to all the children, magic show dance..fun..feeling like they are not away from their hometown and siblings.   • Raksha Bandhan celebration at HAH

    Raksha Bandhan was enthusiastically celebrated by the children at Home Away From Home (HAH) for children suffering from cancer and their families running by Varsha Foundation at Lucknow.
    Due to medical reasons they could not go to their home town. Varsha Foundation ensured that they felt like being at their home.

  • Independence day celebration 2024

    We celebrated independence Day on 15 August in our Home away from Home (HAH), a home for children suffering from cancer and their families at Lucknow running by Varsha Foundation. All the children, their families, and staff members participated in the celebration. Sweets, gifts, toys, etc. distributed to the children. I am sharing a few pics and clips here.

  • Retinoblastoma ( RB) Cancer Awareness program

    Retinoblastoma ( RB) Cancer Awareness program organized in pediatric Eye Department, KGMU Hospital Lucknow. Varsha Foundation invited to participate in the Cancer Awareness program. Varsha Foundation participated in the Awareness program and delivered the message that Varsha Foundation provides medical, social, surgical, diagnostic services etc to the children braving RB Cancer.

  • Celebration of Eid-Ul-Fitr 2024

    Dear well-wishers,

    We celebrate all the festivals at Home Away From Home (HAH), a home for children suffering from cancer and their families at Lucknow. We celebrated “EID” too at HAH. All the children and their families celebrated the festival, cooked “मीठी सिवई” together, and wished each other on this occasion. Children did craft activities and gifts 🎁 given to all.

  • Holi celebration at HAH 25 Mar 2024

    Holi festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Home Away from Home (HAH) running by Varsha Foundation for the children suffering from cancer and their families at Lucknow. No chemical colors were used, instead it was celebrated with flowers. These were very emotional moments because these children and families will not be able to go to their homes. HAH has always fulfilled this need.. all festivals are celebrated here with great love and care. Everyone had a lot of fun, danced a lot, ate Gujiya, congratulated each other, and prayed to God that all the children get well soon. Everyone celebrated this festival happily.
