As you all know that the children undergoing treatment cannot go to their home towns on Holi and they miss their siblings, their friends, colleagues, HAH plays a vital role on such occasions.Varsha foundation understands their feelings and we stand by them as their friend.Varsha Foundation tries to add colours to their lives on this special day of Holi. Holi was celebrated in HAH with flowers and herbal colours . Saries were given to all the female attendants, gifts and toys given to all the children, Sweet Gujia and food prepared together, participated in fun and game activities. See, how happy they are.
International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) was celebrated in स्नेह आश्रय a home for children with cancer and their families called Home Away from Home (HAH) running by Varsha Foundation in partnership with Cankids…Kidscan in Lucknow. Children their parents, staff, donors, partner’s representative, guests participated in the event. On this occasion we conducted various awareness programme activities in the HAH, cut the cake, gifts given to children, all enjoyed the day, see the smile faces of the children in pics..
Dushehra, a symbol of the victory of truth over untruth, celebrated yesterday with great pomp in HAH a short stay home called Home Away from Home running by Varsha Foundation in partnership with Cankids…kidscan for the children suffering from cancer and their families at Lucknow. No one felt that they were away from their homes. Lots of gifts, toys, chocolates, biscuits etc distributed to the children.
